| Overview: |
Likely the last private property located at Pollett`s Cove to go on the market - perhaps ever - this 25 acres encompasses a meadow rising above cliffs and looks down on the 3000 foot beach and Blair River. The Pollett`s Cove/Aspy Bay Fault area is easily one of the most beautiful pieces of wilderness land in Nova Scotia, and Pollett`s Cove is the crown jewel. Comprising 3000 feet of ocean beach, two rivers, meadows, mountains and forest, the area is a popular hiker`s and kayaking destination, and fronts on the St. Lawrence Gulf in a cove in which whales are regular visitors. A road and power will never be intrusive features here, and most of the privately held land has been acquired to preserve and protect. Described by tour brochures and visitors as one of the most beautiful places on earth, the privilege of ownership in this area may never arise again.

The exceptional qualities of astounding beauty, unique land forms, beach, mountain, rivers, plentiful wildlife and no road access make the acreage within this area a true “wilderness” holding.
Though this primary access point to the Pollett’s Cove/Aspey Bay Fault is an internationally recognized touring destination for hikers, kayakers and boaters, this land is, and has been, private for a number years. While public use has been permitted, the land is posted as being private and remains a private tract of land. In fact, it is specifically protected under the Wilderness Act of 1998 as an ‘in-holding’ and not subject to the government regulations under the Act.
It should be noted that the Pollett’s Cove Aspey Bay Fault area, is a Wilderness protected site that allows no ATVs, ski-mobiles, nor any motorized transport.
There are a multitude of reasons for owning this totally unique piece of Nova Scotia, not the least of which is its startling natural beauty. It is being offered for sale as a continuing private property - one that, even without power and road access (and perhaps in part because of that), is surely a one-of-a-kind opportunity anywhere in Canada - and the world.
