Overview:
Property on the St. Ann's Bay waterfront, particularly with the views which are part of this 6 acre parcel, are not available frequently. Being 25 minutes form Baddeck; 40 minutes from N. Sydney, and ten minutes form the Gaelic College, the property has been cut over about ten years ago, and is ready for planning a home site. It is situated along the axis of a lovely peninsula, with about 260 feet of waterfront, and while there is a rocky/sandy beach, there is about an 18 foot cliff that requires some stairs to get up and down. The adjacent converted lighthouse on the waterfront provides a picturesque quality, which completes this very attractive site.

Comment:

If you are not familiar with the St. Ann's Bay area, please do view the area photos. Even in Cape Breton where scenic is the norm, the bay area is notable for its natural beauty.

The Chanterelle Country Inn and Cottages is a 150 acre estate that takes its name from the popular Chanterelle mushroom which sometimes grows with abandon on the island. Situated on the Cabot Trail, it sits high on a brae overlooking the estuary of the North River as it flows into St. Ann’s Bay.

Cape Breton bullet St Ann's Harbor Area
This site is a portal to the St. Ann's Harbour area communities. A surprisingly broad set of links and pages that cover everything from road conditions and ferry schedules (a necessary adjunct to St. Anne's residents) to community affairs, breakfasts, and other organized social meetings. Educational events, photo and artistic galleries, the Gaelic College, and more. For the St.Anne's resident particularly, but also moves into broader areas from Baddeck to North Sydney, which includes the most accessible locales for shopping and services. Nice photo gallery of bay area. Lots of ads but easy to ignore.
