Overview:

Doing justice to the descriptions of some listed properties can be difficult, as in this case. Although there is a combination of physical location, expertise in the construction of the house, the master carpentry, and the delightful sense of the ocean, my portrait just skims the edge of reality. Due to the positioning of the house, the views are overtly oceanic, including the distant lighthouse on Cheticamp Island. The sounds of the waves on the beach below and the occasional image of spray suggests a distant location free from human intrusion. But in fact, the land, on its own point, is part of the charming fishing village of Cheticamp with all of its attractive resources only moments away. Skilled wood finishing, comfortably large rooms and an open plan kitchen attest to the 7 year age and scrupulous upkeep. The combination of glorious sunsets, lack of bugs (almost none) and the charm of the house makes this property exceptionally desirable. The large two car garage opens into the house.

Comments:

Frankly, this property must be seen to be fully appreciated. Its location at the edge of the Village of Cheticamp, but located on its own point of land, its private beach, its carefully planned and laid out exposure to the ocean, and the very comfortable interior all combine to make this a special place. The large unfinished portion of the basement is wired for 220 volt for carpentry machines, and the space would contain a generous activity and project room. The house is a sealed interior which means no air in or out. Therefore, the air exchanger is fundamental.

Notable:

There is a attached 2 car, oversized 2 door garage measuring 24' X 28' that has electricity and overhead doors. One of the two doors has an automatic garage door opener.
